WWE SummerSlam 2018: Will The Undertaker Make His Long-Awaited Return?
Next to WrestleMania, SummerSlam is just one of WWE’s largest and most likely events all year, and the 2018 setup live in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is guaranteed to be no exception. Already multiple matches have been announced showing lots of promise.
Between Raw and SmackDown Live, SummerSlam is sure to be stacked with star power. Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey will be involved in championship clashes in the event while AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins takes on Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental title.
Conspicuous by his absence on the card, however, is The Undertaker, who was persona non grata on WWE programming because Greatest Royal Rumble. But, based on reliable wrestling source Wrestling Standard, he might be about to compete this year more than lovers originally expected:
The expectation backstage is the Undertaker will be inclined to wrestle more frequently, potentially up to four or five times this year.
Together Undertaker, there are with. After all, SummerSlam has hosted many comebacks previously, therefore it would not be too surprising to observe some of the following competitors resurface on August 19 at Brooklyn.
