Victor Lindelof: Manchester United defender signs new contract until 2024
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has already signed a fresh deal with the club, keeping him at Old Trafford.
The Sweden also has an choice to extend the deal by a further year.
Lindelof has gone on to create 74 appearances in all competitions for the club and came for a charge in the area of # 30m from Benfica during the summertime of 2017.
He explained:”Ever since the day I came at United it has felt like home. I have grown considerably as a individual and as a participant in the previous two years and for that I am thankful to everyone in the club for support and their assistance.
“I love playing football and my goal now will be to help the team to win prizes and repay the fans due to their amazing support.
“I understand that everyone in the club shares this vision and will provide everything to get Manchester United back to where it belongs.
“I’m still young and know I can improve further but with the help of the boss and his own training staff, I think that only great things are ahead for this wonderful club.”
Lindelof begins alongside record-signing Harry Maguire and has set himself since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer added:”Victor has established himself here and has become an extremely important part of our team. He brings calmness about the pitch and that I will see he is determined to help this team and to succeed here.
“I’m extremely happy that he has committed his future to Manchester United. We are all looking forward to working together to provide the success and receive United back to where we understand the club goes”
