Victor Lindelof: Manchester United defender signs new contract until 2024

Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has recently signed up a new contract with the club, keeping him at Old Trafford until June 2024.
The Sweden worldwide also features an choice to expand the price by a further year.
Lindelof has gone on to make 74 appearances in all competitions for the club and came for a fee in the region of # 30m from Benfica at the summertime of 2017.
He said:”As the day that I arrived at United it has felt like home. I have grown both in the previous two years as a player and as a individual and for that I am thankful to everyone at the club for support and their help.
“I love playing football and my aim now will be to assist the group to win trophies and repay the fans for their unrivalled support.

Since Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December, Lindelof has shown herself as a first-choice centre-back and now begins alongside Harry Maguire.
Solskjaer added:”Victor has created himself here and has become a very significant part our team. He brings focus about the pitch and I can see he is determined to be successful here and to help this team.
“I’m extremely happy that he has committed his future to Manchester United. We’re all looking forward to working together to deliver the success and also get United back to where we understand the club belongs.”
