Top Three Soccer Picks for Matchday 1 of the Premier League

The wait will be over. The Premier League is back! Even though Spain and Germany resume next week and Italy the subsequent week, in addition, it suggests my weekly column of gambling selections makes its return!
Football bettors rejoice!
For new subscribers, I post this column every Friday and put my favorite selections across the European football world (of reasonable value;??I will not consist of anything at the -200 area ) and typically outline some information, notes and trends that have developed across the leagues. My attention is generally Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and also Ligue 1, but I will throw in the occasional Eredivisie or even Liga NOS selections sometime??also.
France’s Ligue 1 starts this weekend as well, but I’m going to use this week’s column to get a trio of Premier League selections.
The Premier League will be deep. Yes, we have got the six, but clubs like Everton, Wolves, Leicester, Watford and West Ham can, on paper , put some fear into these larger clubs and also create the table interesting.
Important to notice as always: most of the time that it’s in your best interest to make your stakes AFTER starting XI’s have been announced. All these come out roughly an hour before kickoff, but employees can alter everything. Always have a contingency plan or remain away from gambling a??game altogether if a star??player or 2 are lost in the starting lineup.
Do not force anything and always stay up to date on player and manager notes and news.
Also, the first couple of weeks can be rough. What’s changed in just a club on the summer break? Is that new transfer going to pan out from the Premier League? Who is this new manager? Sometimes it may be best to wait a couple of games before you begin gambling so that you can find a feel for any particular team.
That’s my advice to you personally. Me? I am gont jump into headfirst this week and I’ve got three Premier League bets all lined up.
Here’s hoping we begin with a bang! Let us go!
As always, odds courtesy Bovada.
Wolves, the darlings of a casual Premier League viewer along with many a footy bettor looking for an underdog play last year, open the new campaign on the road at Leicester. Even though the underdog 1X2 cost of +260 looks pretty good, my drama here is going to be OVER 1.0 goal for Wolves at +120.
First things first: they had been always much better against groups that dominated possession, allowing their opponents”believe” they were having their way, even playing”their match .” However, in fact, anglers were in their greatest in this specific spot and then pouncing on errors with a blistering counter-attack that often yielded pretty soccer and even prettier goals.
This is a significant part of the reason I’ll be backing the Wolves OVER 1 within their opener. Leicester completed eighth in the Premier League in possession last season (50.8%) and this will possibly allow anglers to settle back and play with their game.
But another huge issue for Leicester is that the fact that their best centre back, Harry Maguire, has been sold to Manchester United with no replacement coming in. What exactly does that mean to the center of the backline? Well, more than likely, we will visit Jonny Evans and ??aglar S??y??nc?? and if the latter played with some solid minutes last season, I simply don’t see them doing sufficient to maintain Wolves off the board.
The Foxes won this fixture 2-0 last year, but Wolves obtained revenge in January with a 4-3 goal-fest from the reverse fixture. I’m not implying we see seven objects in this but??that I certainly do not view Wolves being kept off the scoresheet. I expect this team to be fraught with confidence to open the season.

Man, did anybody in the Premier League have a much worse transport window compared to Crystal Palace? Moreover, you may make a situation that Everton had one of the top five windows.
Palace will be a disaster this year. They offered asserting young fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka and did nothing with the money they got for him. Who did they earn? Well, it is a veritable who’s who of dull Premier League players: Jordan Ayew, James McCarthy and Gary Cahill direct the underwhelming collection of all incomings.
I can talk about how I enjoy the loan??go for midfielder Victor Camarasa out of Real Betis, however, it’s insignificant. I like OVER 2.5 in +115 within this one and also once I look at the possible Everton XI, I really wouldn’t be surprised when the Toffees take care of the amount themselves.
Everton may have an assault which includes Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean on Saturday, the latter two coming over from Arsenal and Juventus respectively. That’s a pretty great quartet correct there, folks.
Just a couple of the past four Premier League encounters between these two would have eclipsed 2.5 and also this fixture last year produced a drab 0-0 competition but it did return 22 efforts by the visitors.
Sure, it is always tricky from the first weeks when it comes to betting, but I will tell you that much: I will be seeking to play Palace at every twist this year and a big reason for that is a deficiency of center encircle the likes of Maguire. I think Everton has a subject here but I wouldn’t be amazed to see Palace struck on the board. So I’ll take OVER 2.5.

If you read my column on Premier League Futures Bets, you’ll notice I like Brighton to get relegated this year. I don’t expect much out of this group and I’m gonna try fading them in their mill off to Watford this weekend.
I like Watford a lot. They have the capacity and staff to perform some attractive football and score some big wins and cash wagers with decent costs attached. Like this spot at -110.
The Hornets pile the middle of the pitch in their 4-2-2-2 creation and boast gifted players such as Troy Deeney, Gerard Deulofeu, Roberto Pereyra and Abdoulaye Doucour??. Additionally, they added exciting wide player Isma??la Sarr out of Stade Rennais in addition to experienced ahead Danny Welbeck. I already liked the setup but with a potential and also a veteran coming in, Watford has filled out some depth here.
Brighton doesn’t really bring much to the table, but did add some interesting pieces to the mix including Neal Maupay, Leandro Trossard and underrated midfielder Aaron Mooy. Still, I think they are totally outclassed in this , especially at Vicarage Road.
Nearly a year ago to the day, Watford won this fixture 2-0 thanks to a brace from Pereyra, who faces a late fitness test when he is to attribute for Javi Gracia. However, I think that the Hornets are ready to bag a win in front of the home crowd and get their season off to some buzzing start.
On this note, I’ll finish this week’s column.
