Luton 1-2 Leeds: United edge late win at Kenilworth Road

Leeds left it late to grab a 2-1 win at struggling Luton which assisted them grow into the Sky Bet Championship automatic promotion places.
It had seemed like the hosts could finish their run of four straight defeats but they were reversed by Patrick Bamford end, which was credited to Matt Pearson as a personal objective.
It was Luton who had the first effort after 20 minutes, Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu firing over the bar from just outside the box Though Leeds dominated the early phases in terms of ownership.

Luke Ayling along with mateusz Klich both had attempts soar wide while, to Shea, Bamfords suggestion was close with 40 minutes , before the home keeper made a great save from Tyler Roberts effort that is tumultuous.
Moments before half-time Brown curled over for Luton however United had the lead after 50 minutes with a goal of genuine controversy.
Brown appeared to be clipped on when on the ball for Town, only for referee John Brooks to provide nothing. Leeds counter-attacked with Bamford and clinical precision rifled Shea.
However the Hatters were flat after 54 seconds, as Brown sent to nod beyond Kiko Casilla because of his sixth of the year over an excellent cross for James Collins.
Harry Cornicks effort was saved by the keeper, even until Luton thought they had the guide but Matty Pearsons goal was ruled out by a late linesmans flag.
Bradley whizzed over one yet Bamford ought to have left it 2-1 on 64 minutes, volleying waywardly from just eight yards out.
Luton tried for a winner, Andrew Shinnies low push accumulated by Casilla, but United maintained on pushing in the closing phases, bringing in Tottenhams Jack Clarke for his first league appearance of the year.
Pablo Hernandez tried to beat Shea the Town stopper equivalent to his effort until he could watch Stuart Dallas ambitious hit fly across the bar.
As it seemed like hed be the hero till Bamford pounced, with the help of Pearson Klich was denied by shea in the closing phases.
Town must have left having a stage however, Dan Potts heading a gilt-edged chance broad with the last kick slumped to a different loss.
