Heather Watson reaches Tianjin Open final after straight-sets win

By storming into the Tianjin Open with a straight-sets victory over Veronika Kudermetova, heather Watson continued her impressive form that week.
The No 2 showed no signs of nerves in her first WTA Tour semi-final in over a year, winning 6-1 6-4 in 14 minutes and 1 hour.
After the Swede conquer Ons Jabeur having pulled off fine victories over seed Wang Qiang and Magda Linette in this tournament, Watson will face Rebecca Peterson at the final.
Second week, the 27-year-old, who will go back into the top 100, needed just more than three hours to get Linette at the past eight to Friday.
As she raced through the first set breaking as Kudermetova fought with her serve but there was no fatigue on display.
Watson moved in the second place and, she got the job done to accomplish her fourth career WTA final even though seeing two match points go begging.
