Victor Lindelof: Manchester United defender signs new contract until 2024
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has signed a new contract with the team , keeping him at Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old Sweden worldwide also has an option to extend the price by a year.
Lindelof has gone on to make 74 appearances in all competitions for the club and arrived in United from Benfica at the summertime of 2017 for a fee in the region of 30m.
He said:”Since the day that I came at United it’s felt like home. I have grown both as a person and as a participant in the past two decades and for that I am thankful to everyone in the club with support and their help.
“I love playing football and my aim now will be to help the team to win trophies and repay the fans with their high heeled support.
“I know that everyone at the club shares this vision and will give everything to get Manchester United back to where it goes.
“I’m still young and understand I can improve further but with the support of the boss and his own coaching team, I feel that only good things are ahead for this fantastic club.”
Lindelof today starts alongside Harry Maguire and has set himself since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took control in December at Old Trafford.

Manchester United travel to the London Stadium on Renault Super to perform West Ham, live out of 1pm on Sky Sports Premier League.
