West Brom moved very top of the Sky Bet Championship with a win against Cardiff and returned to winning ways.
Slaven Bilics promotion chasers directed 3-0 before the 75th minute but replacement Danny Ward made matters nervy for the house fans before Romaine Sawyers felt the Baggies fourth goal.
Charlie Austin scored his first league goal for West Brom following first-half strikes against Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira.
Albion revealed the defeat at Leeds has been a blip with their second home triumph.
Cardiffs Robert Gladzel had an effort disallowed for offside before Austin scored Ward set up a grandstand finish.
