Top Three Soccer Picks for Matchday 1 of the Premier League

The wait will be over. The Premier League is finally back! While Spain and Germany resume next week and Italy the following week, it also means that my weekly column of betting choices creates its return!
Football bettors rejoice!
For new readers, I place this column each Friday and lay out my favorite collections across the European football world (of reasonable value;??I will not include anything in the -200 vicinity) and typically outline some news, notes and trends that have developed across the leagues. My focus is generally Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1, but I will throw in the occasional Eredivisie or even Liga NOS selections sometime??also.
France’s Ligue 1 begins this weekend as well, but I’m going to use this week’s column to get a trio of Premier League picks.
The Premier League is going to be profound. Yes, we have got the big six, however clubs like Everton, Wolves, Leicester, Watford and West Ham could, on paper at least, put some fear into these larger clubs and also create the table intriguing.
Important to notice always: most of the time it’s in your very best interest to make your bets AFTER starting XI’s have been declared. All these come out about one hour before kickoff, however, personnel can alter everything. Always have a contingency plan or stay away from gambling a??game completely when a star??player or 2 are lost from the starting lineup.

The darlings of a casual Premier League viewer and lots of a footy bettor searching for an underdog play last season, start the brand new campaign on the road at Leicester. Though the underdog 1X2 cost of +260 seems pretty great, my play here is going to be OVER 1.0 goal for Wolves at +120.
First things first: Wolves were always far better against groups that dominated ownership, letting their competitions”think” they were getting their way,??playing”their match .” However, in reality, anglers were in their best in this exact area and then pouncing on errors using a blistering counter-attack that often yielded pretty football as well as flatter targets.
That is a huge part of the reason that I’ll be backing the Wolves OVER 1 into their opener. Leicester completed eighth in the Premier League in possession last season (50.8percent ) and this will potentially allow Wolves to settle back and play with their match.
But another big issue for Leicester is the fact that their best center back, Harry Maguire, was sold to Manchester United with no replacement coming from. What does that mean for the middle of their backline? Well, more than likely, we’ll watch Jonny Evans and ??aglar S??y??nc?? and while the latter played with a few solid minutes a year ago, I simply don’t find them doing enough to keep Wolves off the board.
The Foxes won this fixture 2-0 final season, but Wolves obtained revenge in January using a 4-3 goal-fest from the reverse fixture. I am not implying we see seven goals in this but??that I surely don’t view Wolves being kept off the scoresheet. I expect this team to be filled with confidence to open the entire year.

Man, did anybody in the Premier League have a worse transport window compared to Crystal Palace? In addition, you may create a case that Everton had just one of the top five windows.
Palace is going to be a catastrophe this year. They offered promising young fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka and basically did nothing with all the money that they got for him. Who did they bring in? Well, it’s a veritable who’s who of boring Premier League players: Jordan Ayew, James McCarthy and Gary Cahill lead the underwhelming collection of incomings.
I am able to chat about how I enjoy the loan??move for midfielder Victor Camarasa out of Real Betis, but it’s insignificant. I like OVER 2.5 in +115 in this one and once I look at the possible Everton XI, I really wouldn’t be surprised when the Toffees care of this number themselves.
Everton could have an attack which features Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean on Saturday, the latter two coming over from Arsenal and Juventus respectively. That’s a fairly good quartet directly there, people.
Just a couple of the previous four Premier League encounters between these two could have eclipsed 2.5 and also this fixture last year generated a drab 0-0 contest but it did yield 22 efforts by the visitors.
Sure, it’s always tricky in the first weeks when it comes to gambling, but I’ll tell you this much: I will be seeking to play against Palace at each turn this year and a large reason for this is a deficiency of center encircle the likes of Maguire. I think Everton includes a subject here but I would not be surprised to see Palace struck on the board. So I’ll take OVER 2.5.

If you read my column onto Premier League Futures Bets, you’ll notice I enjoy Brighton to get relegated this season. I really don’t expect much out of this team and I’m gonna attempt fading them into their opener out to Watford this weekend.
I like Watford a great deal. They have the capability and staff to perform some attractive football and score a few big wins and money wagers with decent prices attached. Like this spot at -110.
The Hornets pile the middle of the pitch in their 4-2-2-2 formation and boast gifted players such as Troy Deeney, Gerard Deulofeu, Roberto Pereyra and Abdoulaye Doucour??. Additionally, they added exciting wide player Isma??la Sarr from Stade Rennais in addition to experienced forwards Danny Welbeck. I liked the setup here but with a prospect and a veteran coming , Watford has really filled out some detail.
Brighton doesn’t really bring much to the table, but did include some intriguing pieces to the mix including Neal Maupay, Leandro Trossard and underrated midfielder Aaron Mooy. However, I believe they’re completely outclassed in this one, especially at Vicarage Road.
Nearly a year ago to the day, Watford won this fixture 2-0 thanks to a brace from Pereyra, that really faces a late fitness test if he is to attribute Javi Gracia. Still, I think that the Hornets are able to bag a win in front of the home audience and get their season off into a buzzing start.
