Reds vs. Cardinals MLB Pick – August 30th
The Cincinnati Reds head to St. Louis Following a tough loss last night at Miami.
They fell in the 12th and moved to extras. Terrible loss for the Reds, but it’s all elementary at this point in the season. They have already taken themselves from the postseason equation . There was plenty of buzz when the Reds traded for Yasiel Puig.
At the very least the Reds looked at being. In 2019, Cincinnati are way with a list of 63-70. There is promise for its future, however, with Aristides Aquino swinging the stick, together with Sonny Gray and Luis Castillo from the rotation. The cupboard isn’t likely to be empty for the Reds.
This season is taken for the Reds. They are from the postseason but without a lot of aid in sight for 2019, their season is currently about life support with a nine-game shortage at the National League to get a wildcard. The Cardinals lead the NL Central and so are 10.5 games up on the Reds. The only team the Cards have to probably concern yourself with in September is the Cubs.
Milwaukee has an opportunity, but they’ve been gradually fading back and are 5.5 games back of 1st entering the weekend. St. Louis are the best group by far from the NL Central in the second-half. The Cubs and Brewers both have been inconsistent, although the Cards quietly emerged at the top of the branch.
However that was their very first loss in seven games, the Cardinals are coming off a loss to the Brewers in Milwaukee. Dakota Hudson will seem to begin a new win streak for St. Louis on Friday. Trevor Bauer has said that he is happy he’s out of Cleveland. He seemingly misses nothing about Cleveland, but I am certain he misses his stats he had with his staff.
